Wow! New Spam

I have gotten used to all the spam out there in email land. The member enlargement, the "I'm bored, wanna chat with me," the Nigerian scam spam. But this one almost made me look twice--so beware your Toyota Japan Lotto emails!

And the "aol" part of that email is original. What high up executive uses an aol account? I am sort of surprised they didn't ask for my ssn and credit card number.

    Perhaps it is like the V'GER from Star Trek: The Motion Picture? Some way old spam got lost in deep space and got all banged up and then was discovered by some super-advanced race of spambots who gave it an overhaul and then sent it back to its planet of origin many years after its disappearance?

    Hey, it could happen. Maybe.

  • Oh, yeah. I got the biggest one they had. It came into port on a shipping container. Unfortunately, the shipping cost $500,000 and the car was confiscated at the shipyard for containing drugs. Luckily they let me go with a warning not to answer spam mail...
